Generally, when welding and cutting operations are carried out in basements, tunnels, metal containers and relatively closed places, due to special factors such as poor air circulation, inconvenient access, insufficient light, poor site and inconvenient activities, accidents are easy to occur in welding and cutting operations and it is not easy to rescue. Therefore, the following safety measures must be strictly taken.

（1）作業(yè)前必須認真仔細地對作業(yè)場所內(nèi)外的情況調(diào)查清楚，要查清室外的建筑或其他結(jié)構(gòu)對室內(nèi)動火焊、割是否有影響，室內(nèi)是否有易燃易爆物質(zhì)，必要時應(yīng)先對室內(nèi)的氣體進行取樣分析，確認后，才能進入室內(nèi)操作。

(1) Before operation, the situation inside and outside the workplace must be carefully investigated. It is necessary to find out whether the outdoor buildings or other structures have an impact on indoor hot welding and cutting, and whether there are flammable and explosive substances in the room. If necessary, the indoor gas shall be sampled and analyzed to confirm safety before entering the room for operation.

（2）乙炔發(fā)生器、氧氣瓶、電焊機均不準放在動火焊、割的室內(nèi)。要仔細檢查氧-乙炔管道和焊、割炬是否漏氣，嚴防氧-乙炔氣體體積聚在室內(nèi)而引起爆炸事故，暫停焊、割時要把氧-乙炔管道和焊、割炬拿出室外。并打開所有門窗或閥門，盡可能保持空氣流通，必要時要采取機械通風(fēng)。

(2) Acetylene generator, oxygen cylinder and electric welding machine are not allowed to be placed in the room of hot welding and cutting. Carefully check the oxygen acetylene pipeline and welding and cutting torch for gas leakage, and strictly prevent the explosion accident caused by the concentration of oxygen acetylene gas in the room. When welding and cutting are suspended, take the oxygen acetylene pipeline and welding and cutting torch out of the room. Open all doors, windows or valves to maintain air circulation as much as possible, and take mechanical ventilation if necessary.

（3）用焊割設(shè)備進行電焊操作時，焊、割場所需保持干燥，嚴格檢查絕緣防護裝備是否符合要求。在金屬容器內(nèi)作業(yè)時，焊工不準把頭、背等或未帶絕緣物的部位碰著金屬容器。照明設(shè)備一律采用低壓照明燈。

(3) When using welding and cutting equipment for electric welding, the welding and cutting place shall be kept dry, and the insulation protection equipment shall be strictly checked to see whether it meets the safety requirements. When working in metal containers, welders are not allowed to touch their heads, backs, etc. or parts without insulation against metal containers. All lighting equipment shall adopt low-voltage lamps.
